Sylvia Chen
Sylvia is the Founder and Director of Egmont Trade Consulting. Her work focuses on advising international businesses on diverse trade policy matters and trade compliance issues. In 2019-2020, she was one of the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship recipients, for which she examined the transatlantic dimension of U.S.-China trade conflicts and assisted a German manufacturer in conducting trade policy-related risk assessments and process-designing the export controls protocols. Before moving to Germany, she worked as a trade attorney in a U.S. law firm, for which she advised international clients on antidumping and countervailing duty cases in the U.S. as well as providing analyses on the US trade policy developments.
